The Matriarch
A small group of Elephant were walking across an open area in the Masai Mara. I positioned my vehicle a few hundred meters ahead of them and waited for them to come walking past. The female matriarch walked straight up to my vehicle to inspect and make sure all was in place. Allowing for an awesome opportunity to photograph her portrait against a setting sun.
